My creative process

Discover how my passion for video games and cinema has turned into a rigorous work methodology, nourished by curiosity, training and experience. Here is my journey and my vision of creation.

My journey: from curiosity to expertise

My journey in video game development began with a strong curiosity for interactive creation and the functioning of game engines. I then structured this interest by integrating a three-year training at Studio Mercier, where I acquired solid foundations in programming (C++, C#) and development on Unreal Engine and Unity.

The method: from the idea to the functional game

I will iterate the mechanics, starting with small prototypes that will later be improved. According to the project, I adapt my tasks. If I am alone, I will take care of the level design, then the level art of the sounds.... If I am in a team, I focus on priorities and needs to achieve them.

My motivation: bringing interactivity to life

What motivates me the most in video game development is the ability to turn ideas into concrete interactive experiences. I particularly enjoy seeing a system that I designed come to life and become something that the player can actually feel and understand through gameplay. The iteration process, technical challenges and optimization are essential aspects of my work and very satisfactory.Ce qui me motive le plus dans le développement de jeux vidéo, c’est la capacité à transformer des idées en expériences interactives concrètes. J’apprécie particulièrement le fait de voir un système que j’ai conçu prendre vie et devenir quelque chose que le joueur peut réellement ressentir et comprendre à travers le gameplay. Le processus d’itération, les défis techniques et l'optimisation sont des aspects essentiels et très satisfaisants de mon travail.
